This card is the one first for the Christmas Cards All Year 'Round Design Team. Their theme this month is nice and easy "Anything Goes" so why not make a head start on all those Christmas cards we all have to make and enter their challenge, (I have a confession I was so busy making commissioned cards this year that most of my family didn't get one . . . isn't that terrible???).
That won't be the case this year of course since I will be working with the design team for 6 months and should get plenty made in time; although one of my sisters did quip that they probably wouldn't get birthday cards instead this year as I would be busy with Christmas; sisters eh, you've got to love them : )
The image is from Magnolia, of course . . . still finding them very irresistible : )
She is coloured with Copic markers:
Skin: E000; E00; E02 and R20
Hair: E35 and E71
Hat: R05; R17 and C1
Coat: B00; B12; B23 and C1
Jeans: B93; B95 and B97
Boots: E47; E71 and C5
Snowman body: B00; B60; YR04; YR07; B12 and C7
Snowman's Hat: R05; R17 and C1
Broom: E37; E50; E51; E53; E35; E71; B60 and B00
The paper is from "K&Co" Ultimate Christmas Creative Pad mounted on silver mirror board and Dreadnought Grey Canford card from Daler-Rowney
I slotted 30mm satin edged organza ribbon through the main topper.
The snowflakes were made using a Marianne D Creatable die to cut blue mirror card and white glitter card shapes. They were finished using a flattened bead cap and a pearl brad.
The sentiment is from Anita's Christmas Sentiments in silver.
The corners are finished with Papermania adhesive stones in transparent.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly Challenge - "Cold and Frosty Morning"
Creative Card Crew - "Fancy Folds"
Just Magnolia and hAnglar stAnglar Challenge #89 - "My Favourite Things"
Thanks for reading,
