June already . . . and a new challenge over at Ready Teddy Go
"One for the Boys"
The challenged is sponsored by "My Mum's Craft Shop" this month and
there's a £10 voucher on offer for the winner of the prize draw.
Now, it is fairly safe to say that making cards for the males in my life are not my favourite cards to make. The fact that there is no glitter, no flowers, no ribbon (although I did sneak in a bit, lol) and no general prettiness allowed makes them completely alien to me !!!
But as Father's Day is fast approaching I relented and albeit with quite a lot of help 'cos I am still essentially one handed (there's no improvement in the condition of my shoulder unfortunately) here is my effort !!!
The image was from a push out decoupage pack from Docrafts Forever Friends, so nice and easy, no need to handle scissors.
The background paper is from Kanban matted onto gold mirror board.
A gold peel off greeting and some Candi in a pearlescent blue finished off a simple layout.
The headlights have Ranger Glossy Accents added to give them a glass like finish.
The inside of the card was finished to match the front.
The DT ladies have created amazing cards, pop over to the challenge site to have a look.
Thanks for visiting
