Ooopps, I'm a day late posting this [blushing] but as another of the DT members posted a day early, I think we're fairly balanced, lol . . .
You still have plenty of time to enter your papercrafting creations at the Ready-Teddy-Go Challenge
The theme this month is
We would like to see your 'makes' which features a bear image with something which flies. So that could be a bee, a butterfly, a kite, an aeroplane or a hot air balloon . . . use your imagination.
ooohh, full of lovely sparkly stuff
Please visit the challenge site, some of the DT have made some more inspiration cards for you to look at
I didn't have the opportunity to make a reminder card [blushing again] but do have a card to show you that I made back at the beginning of March but didn't get time to blog about.
Lovely Tilda, coloured with Copics to match the DP, which were from the Papermania Spring Chic Paperstack.
I had my very first go at chalking [with chalk ink] some clouds in the background behind her and think it came out quite well. I used a hand-cut Post It™ note to use as a mask; and move it around to create a layered cloud look.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts with some mounted on paper blooms (flat flowers). The feathers were in quite a big pack when I bought them and I didn't make a note of where they were from [I do this all the time and it annoys me, lol].
The Birthday sentiment is from Kanban, love this company.
I loved the way the colour scheme came together for this card and I know the recipient was pleased with it too, which is all that really matters.
Just a final picture of the finish on the back of the card and my maker's stamp
I'm entering this into the following challenges:
Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia Challenge #47 - Anything Goes
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Sugar
That Craft Place - Anything Goes
Thanks for visiting
