It looks like 2013 will more than likely fly by every bit as fast as 2012 did . . . already it is time to remind you that there is still an opportunity to enter the Ready-Teddy-Go challenge
"Something New"
The wonderful DT have produced some more inspirational cards to spur you on . . . it's freezing here in the UK so it's a good chance for keeping yourself warm and indulge in some crafting.
Here's my midway inspirational (hopefully) card
A simple tent card which started life as a 6" x 6" scalloped card blank.
The background papers were free with Papercraft Essentials magazine and were perfect for the job.
The image was also free from a Forever Friends colouring page site. I chose an image and printed it out 6 times and cut out different layers from each print.
I shaped each piece and put it all together using Pinflair silicone gel . . . love this stuff.
A picture to show the depth of the decoupage layers.
The inside of the card has been decorated to match the front but the patterned mat layer has been left blank for a sentiment to be added later.
I stuck some glittery ribbon in two strips down the side of the card and finished with two wooden heart buttons (these I got from eBay).
The grey mat was punched out using my new Punch Around the Page set from Martha Stewart "Flourish Lace".
Please enter your creations over at Ready-Teddy-Go Challenge, you have until the 31st of January but please remember your project must feature a bear or teddy to qualify for the prize draw.
This months prize is a £10 shopping voucher for "My Mum's Craft Shop"
