Hi All,
Thanks for visiting
Here's the first commissioned wedding card of 2013 but heaven knows the weather is anything but wedding like at the moment. I am so sick of shivering, lol, roll on the summer. Please God we get a good summer this year [on my knees praying]. I NEED some sunshine!!!
My sister ordered this card, she had seen the coral wedding anniversary card posted earlier which I made for another couple and she wanted something very similar.
Firstly here's the box made to go with the card.
This time the cardstock used was Centura Pearl "Hint of Silver" . . . again my photography skills are really non existent and I haven't manage to capture the loveliness of the lustre.
Whilst I'm apologising for the quality of the photography, please excuse my craft area general untidiness in the background . . . the photographs had to be taken in a hurry because I had to deliver it shortly afterwards.
Here's the card nested in its bespoke box.
It's a split easel card again but this time I decided to make the tops of the easels appear level instead of asymmetric.
I used the same Joy Crafts design dies to create the topper elements.
The embossing was made using a new embossing folder from Couture Creations called Annalee . . . its beautiful.
The floral spray was create by shaping and layering glittered vellum punched shapes.
The verse was found on the Internet and decorated with peel off wedding rings and little bitty punched butterfly shapes. A Spellbinders nestability die was used to shape it into a stop for the left hand easel.
Mirrored silver Card Candi was used as the stop on the right hand side and more punched flowers were made to decorate.
I was really pleased with the finished card and so was my sister, I'm entering this card into the following challenges
