Hello Crafters
It's Wednesday again and time for a new challenge over at Inky Impressions Challenge Blog.
This week the theme is
"Things with Wings"
I was given a wonderful digi called "Wishing Well" to work with and boy did I have fun with my Copics colouring this one.
It was just wonderful to sit in front of the TV with my family and just colour away . . . I find it so relaxing and let's face it, there's very little worth watching on the telly these days [I must be getting old or too fussy].
Please pop over to the blog to see what my fellow Inkettes came up with . . . you really won't be disappointed . . . they are so talented.
Here's what I created . . .
You can see what I mean about having fun . . . I just loved colouring this little sweetie.
My camera hasn't picked it up but this image is also heavily glittered with Stickles Star Dust - my very favourite glitter glue.
The DPs are from Bo Bunny's Little Miss paper stack.
I thought that the colours best complimented the colours which I had used because once again I made things more difficult for myself by launching into colouring my image before I had chosen my papers!
I used a Spellbinder's die SKU: S4-356 Floral Ovals to cut out a shape for my image to sit on.
I glittered the edge of the image cut out with a Quickie Glue Pen and loose glitter.
I also glittered the edge of the matting layers too.
Just to make sure I adhered to the challenge theme this week I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch to embellish the card. Again I glittered the edges.
Please join in with us this week, there's a great prize this week too
Thanks for visiting
