Hi Crafters
Here's how House of Cards works --- there will be a monthly sketch or colour scheme given which covers all 4 weeks. Each week, we will ask entrants to enter a specific card making style.
How quickly did August fly by for you? Wow, it was sure a quick one for me!
Any how, September brings a new challenge for us at House of Cards, this month and for the whole month it's a colour palette inspiration for you.
It's lots of fun to join in each week with a different card-making style so why not jump in and have a go?

If there is a 5th week within a calendar month, it will be any card making style goes with a photo inspiration.
Here's the colour palette we would like you to work with.
The Fun and Cute DT are the first to start you off so here's what I made to hopefully inspire you:

Use at least 3 of the colour chips in your card |
I used a couple of Kanban scalloped circle card blanks to create an easel card base.
I used the indispensable Martha Stewart circle cutter to make the mat layers, first one in red cardstock from American Crafts and a second in Papermania "Henbury Lane" patterned paper.
I'm so glad I bought multiples of this paper pack, there's not a single sheet in it that I wouldn't use.
The image is from Magnolia, one of my favourite Tilda stamps.
I coloured her using Prismacolor pencils
I highlighted her flowers and dress with Stickles Stardust.
The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts as are the gold butterflies
The tickets were made using a rubber stamp.
The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from Kanban
Why not have a go at this one, it's really easy, just use any 3 colours from the inspiration colour palette.
Thanks for visiting
